Whether you’ve doen the assessment process but aren’t sure how to use what you’ve got, or you’ve stepped back from the system because it’s all felt like too much, this session is for you. No forms, no pressure, just honest answers to your questions.
Facilitated by Ainsley Darvell, founder of Flying Kites, who has spent 20 years walking alongside disabled people and whānau through the disability system.
What We’ll Cover:
- How the disability system works, including eligibility and NASC
- Needs assessments, how to prepare and how to get the most from one you’ve already had
- Individualised Funding (IF) and Carer Support, what it is and how it works
